Eric Duchemin

Eric Duchemin is the Scientific Director of the Urban Agriculture Laboratory and Adjunt Professor at the Institute of Environmental Sciences at the University of Québec at Montréal (UQAM). He is member of the steering committee of UQAM Pôle de la ville résiliente. Co-founder of AULAB in 2009, he has been conducting interdisciplinary research on urban agriculture for nearly 20 years and managing urban agriculture initiatives as the Rooftop Urban Farm at the Montréal Convention Center (Palais des congrès de Montréal)  Internationally recognized as specialist on urban agriculture, after 10 years at the IPCC as Climate change expert on flooded lands, he is involved in training, reseach committees and field projects, particularly in Canada and Europe France. Is one of lead editors of the Springer book Series Urban agriculture.
